Killington Wine Festival July 20-22, 2012
The Killington Wine Festival has earned a reputation for being the Killington region's sigature summer event. Over the past ten years the Festival has grown immensly, and now
features 500 wines from a collection of over 40 wineries from around the world. Wine lovers enjoy a nice July weekend tasting fine wines with Killington Peak and the Green Mountains of Vermont as a scenic backdrop.

The Killington Wine Festival Estate Tasting: The Killington Wine Festival Estate Wine Tasting kicks off the Festival on Friday night. The Estate Tasting features a sampling of approximately 60 estate and reserve wine selections from the world's leading wine makers. Meet vintners and wine representatives in the classy and intimate setting of Ovations Restaurant while enjoying light hors d'oeuvres and the finest wines of the weekend.

'Pop goes the Cork' Wine Party: Following the Estate Wine Tasting on Friday evening, at the "Pop Goes the Cork" Wine Party, guests will enjoy live entertainment, heavy hors d'oeuvres and a full cash bar with signature drink specials. Eat, drink and dance the night away. Details TBD.

Saturday, July 21 |
The Killington Wine Festival Grand Tasting: Held on Saturday afternoon, the Killington Wine Festival Grand Tasting is the signature event of the Killington Wine Festival. This year, the Grand Tasting will take place in the open air, under a large, festive tent with Killington Peak as a scenic backdrop. Choose from an exciting selection of over 450 wines on your sampling adventure! Guests are invited to pair wines with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and samples of Vermont specialty products including cheese, chocolates and more. Take in Vermont's natural beauty with a roundtrip ride on the K1 Gondola to the top of Killington Peak (4,241 feet elevation). Music & other details TBD.

Gourmet Wine Dinners, Tastings & Bubbly Brunch: Throughout the weekend, many area restuarants host special culinary events ranging from wine tastings and pairings to five-course gourmet dinners. Many of these events are accompanied by special guest from wineries who pour at the Estate and Grand Tastings. Space is limited at these events so you are encouraged to make reservations directly with restaurants. |

Sunday, July 22 |
Wine and Nine Golf Tournament: Close out your Killington Wine Festival weekend with Wine and Nine, a special golf outing at the Green Mountain National Golf Course, which was voted the #1 Public Golf Course by Golf Digest. Enjoy specially selected "Golf Friendly" wines, 9 holes of golf with friends (scramble format, cart included) a light dinner and awards based up your "prowess" on the links.
