DockDogs National Championships
October 7-9, 2011, Snowshed Base Lodge, Killington
The world-famous DockDogs will be returning to Killington in 2011 with the National Championships! DockDogs, as seen on ABC, ESPN, and the Outdoor Channel, feature distance jumping and retrieving competitions from the world’s best canine athletes.
As part of the National Championships, more than 300 canine competitors will come to Killington to battle for the national title across three 40-foot dog-diving pools! Competitions include Big Air, Speed Retrieve, and Extreme Vertical.
Bring your dog along for an exciting, fun-filled weekend, and even join in on the fun during amateur hour! The weekend will feature a large outdoor venue, and a pet-friendly vendor area for guests to browse.
The competition runs each day from 9 am - 4 pm, with a special "Try DockDogs" amateur session from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.

Camping Lodging Options
Gifford Woods State Park offers campsites and is located only 5.4 miles from the DockDogs action at Snowshed Base Lodge. The campground also offers cabins and cottages; however, they are not dog-friendly. Please note that the average high and low temperatures in Vermont in October are 58 and 33, so please pack accordingly for you and your pet.
Mountain Green Resort will be offering trailer-parking on-site at a special DockDogs rate! There will be no hookups available.
