Killington Film Festival 2010 is April 8th thru 11th, in beautiful Killington Vermont. We celebrate all films without restrictions; films of any subject, genre and medium are welcomed! Last year's festival winner walked away with an AVID editing system and many other prizes were given to the filmmakers. Networking events, high profile industry professionals, after parties and of course our many screenings are only a few great reasons to become involved!
Our first annual event was an undeniably successful 3 days. Held at the Killington Grand Hotel, we welcomed filmmakers from all over New England and featured the best indie films that the region has to offer. Our featured, well-known filmmakers Jay Craven, John O'Brien, David Giancola and Sam Kauffmann offered exclusive Q&A sessions with our audiences following the screenings of their amazing feature films. Also included in the line up was an afternoon of short films, we screened a handful of shorts all produced in New England and after our judges deliberated, the winning filmmaker took home the coveted prize: AVID editing software worth over $1600!
