Spring Has Sprung!
Spring in Killington brings longer days, bright sunshine, warm temperatures and budding trees and flowers. The Green Mountains are returning to the color they were named after! Right now, you can enjoy hiking in the mountains, fishing on pristine water, biking past blue lakes and wildflowers, as well as dining, shopping and more.
Green Mountain National Golf Course is open for the season, summer events and programs are currently open for registration, and the weather is shifting between warm, sunny days and cool nights.
As the days warm up, it's time to start thinking about summer events! Registration is now open for great signature events like:
-
The Killington Stage Race - three days of competitive, world-famous cycle racing
- Long Trail Century Ride – 100, 50 and 20-mile bike rides through the region to raise money for Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports.
-
The Killington Junior Golf Tournament will once again welcome the world's best junior golfers to our beautiful greens
-
The Killington Wine Festival will return in July for three days of mountain wine tasting events
- The Vermont Challenge - a non-competitive, family-friendly bike tour of Vermont
-
The Super Spartan Beast race - extreme obstacle course racing at its finest
And don't forget to make time for Killington's many restaurants - there's nothing better after a day of enjoying the outdoors than sitting on a deck with a cold drink and great food, soaking up the sun in the Green Mountains!
Registration for Three Cycling Events in Killington Now Open!
Killington may be known throughout New England for being in the heart of the stunning green mountains, but it’s the roads through those mountains that will be getting the attention this summer in Vermont.
